Consumer Communications: Reddit Recap

Annual Consumer Report

Reddit Recap is Reddit's biggest report of the year. The report encompasses all of the interesting, amazing, and unique stories that happened on-platform and highlights Reddit's growth and user engagement.

​

In 2021, I led, managed, curated, and created the Reddit Recap report, coining the overarching theme, "URL to IRL"---a phrase that nodded to the IRL impact redditors had on the real-world.

​

Launch day was a success, and the report landed 140+ articles across geographies, earning headlines in outlets such as Forbes, Newsweek, The Verge, Marketwatch, Yahoo!, and more.

Influencer Marketing: Product Partnership

Influencer Collaboration

One of my largest influencer marketing campaigns was in partnership with Jaybird, a subsidiary of Logitech. To help the brand expand its brand awareness, I led an influencer campaign from conception to execution and partnered with a known dancer and boxer, Deja Riley. In our work together, we collaborated to produce a series of active shots and videos that showcase the product and subsequently, bring more awareness to the versatility of the Jaybird products.

During​ the outbreak of the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic, my Los Angeles team of marketers, strategists, content creators, and researchers collaboratively created our California Quarantine Care Package: Tips and Tricks in which we share our research and insights as to how the Los Angeles culture and its various industries have adapted to the COVID environment. In our report, we touch on changes in the food and beverage space, the cannabis industry, and the shift in digital experiences.

Eater DC: The Maple Guild & Michelin-Starred, Blue Duck Tavern

Media Relations

As the PR / media lead on The Maple Guild, an F&B client, I was responsible for earning media placements. To that end, I decided to reach out to fellow F&B colleagues who connected me with Chef Adam Howard, the executive chef at the D.C.-based, Michelin-starred Blue Duck Tavern. I personally brought various Maple Guild syrup flavors to Chef Howard who decided to use the syrups in his revamped fall menu. I pitched Gabe Hiatt, Editor at Eater DC, a story with a focus on the partnership -- using Chef Howard as the relevant media hook. After a month's coordination and collaboration, Gabe Hiatt published "Blue Duck Tavern Introduces a D.C. Peking Duck with a Foie Gras Half-Smoke" -- a great profile on both Chef Howard and my client.

A21 Influencer Brief

Consulting

To provide A21, a CA-based, anti-human trafficking nonprofit, an overview of influencer marketing, I created a detailed presentation that includes the opportunities and challenges of influencer marketing, as well as appropriate examples and recommended strategies. I then presented my overview to executive members of the organization.
